The rebranded auto insurance unit could be among the easiest to sell, said Bloomberg

American International Group (AIG) may find its renamed auto insurance unit among the easiest to sell, according to Bloomberg.

Quoting industry analysts the Bloomberg story pinned Zurich, Allstate and Travelers as potential buyers.

The analysts said AIG’s 21st Century Insurance, which sells policies over the Internet, would be an ‘extremely attractive buy’.

21st Century may sell for about $1.5bn, said the report.
