DENNIS MAHONEY, chairman and CEO of Aon Limited ...

DENNIS MAHONEY, chairman and CEO of Aon Limited since January 2001, is responsible for the overall co-ordination of all the Aon operations located in the UK.

He is also deputy chairman of the Aon international executive committee. In September 2003 he was appointed executive chairman of Aon Re-Global, with responsibility for all of Aon's reinsurance broking operations worldwide. Prior to this, he was chairman and CEO of Aon Group Limited, the London-based reinsurance and specialist broking operation of Aon Group Inc. In 1996 he was elected the first chairman of the World Insurance Network (WIN). He has also served as a deputy chairman of Lloyd's Insurance Broking Committee and is the immediate past president of the Insurance Institute of London.

KEN DAVEY is senior vice president - managing director, international division, at FM Global. He is based in the company's international division headquarters in Windsor, and has held his position since July 1999, when Arkwright Mutual Insurance Company merged with sister companies Allendale Insurance and Protection Mutual to form FM Global. Formerly, he was executive vice president and managing director of Arkwright International Ltd, where he oversaw operations in Arkwright International's offices in the UK, France and Australia. In 1994 he was appointed executive vice president and director of Arkwright International Ltd, after serving the previous year as vice president and manager of Arkwright's Shelton, Conn., USA-based European operations. He began his career in the London office of Factory Mutual Int., now also a part of FM Global.

DAVID MCCALLUM is the director of risk solutions and specialist businesses, both of which form part of R&SA UK Commercial. He is also the customer management champion at UK executive team level. Prior to returning to the UK in January 2002, he spent five years first as CEO of R&SA's German and Benelux businesses and later as director responsible for all general insurances in EMEA with reporting responsibilities for the heartland European businesses. He has also undertaken a number of commercial insurance roles in the UK regions and London market, including regional management appointments in the Midlands and West End operations, before joining the European Division in 1993.

CLIVE TOBIN is chief executive officer of XL Insurance Global Risk, the large commercial risk management division of XL Insurance, being promoted to this position following the acquisition of Winterthur International in 2001. Since joining XL Capital in 1995, he has held various positions in the reinsurance, financial products and insurance divisions of the group, including in 1999 being elected president of XL Insurance (Bermuda). He began his career with Price Waterhouse in London, later becoming vice president of risk management services for Marsh & McLennan, Inc., working first in Bermuda and subsequently in New York. He is now based in Zurich, Switzerland.

ALAN FAIRHEAD was appointed managing director of Zurich London in April 2004. He joined Zurich Specialties in August 1999 to head the corporate products team and open a relationship-based global property portfolio. In December 2002 he was appointed director of underwriting and manufacturing at Zurich London. Prior to joining Zurich, he spend 21 years with the GRE group in a variety of roles involving casualty and property lines of business including global risks manager and property manager within the London market division.
