Ahead of the Airmic conference this afternoon, Aon Risk Solutions announced a series of changes to its senior leadership team within its Aon Global Risk Consulting practice.

Eddie McLaughlin will join Aon’s Global Risk Consulting (AGRC) team as chief commercial officer for EMEA. He will focus on defining and driving the business development agenda for risk consulting, captive management and risk control and engineering.

Former director of enterprise risk management, Grant Foster, has been appointed as managing director of the Aon Global Risk Consulting team in the UK, replacing David Crofts, who is now heading a global division comprising both consulting and solutions-led support to Aon’s global clients.

Markus Mende, group managing director AGRC EMEA, said: “We are delighted that Eddie McLaughlin will join AGRC as chief commercial officer EMEA. He was previously with Marsh where he managed their strategic risk consulting operations in EMEA and provided strategic direction for key client accounts. Eddie brings with him a wealth of experience across the whole spectrum of risk consulting for clients across the globe. Our consulting arm is further strengthened by the promotion of Grant Foster to managing director, both of these appointments will enable us to deliver increased value and strategic consulting advice for our clients.”
