The IRM received the judges' special commendation for the risk management product of the year. In addition, former IRM chairman Professor Gordon Dickson of Glasgow Caledonian University and Honorary IRM Fellow Francois Settembrino received Lifetime Achievement Awards at the European Risk Management Awards.
Karen Adams, member of the IRM, won the award for the best loss prevention strategy for Coventry City Council, and Peter Power, Fellow of the IRM has received a similar award at the Business Continuity Awards.
The chief executive of the IRM, Steve Fowler, comments: "It is great to see IRM members recognised throughout the full range of risk."
