Explosion on Wednesday cut off shipments to US and killed two workers
Enbridge Inc. resumed oil shipments to the US yesterday following an explosion and fire which shut down four pipelines and killed two workers.
All Enbridge pipelines in the vicinity were shut down and isolated cutting off total shipments of 1.8m barrels a day.
The incident on Wednesday, at a crude oil pipeline approximately three miles southeast of Enbridge’s Clearbrook, Minnesota terminal, caused a brief spike in oil prices.

Federal and state authorities have begun an investigation.
