French risk management association welcomes three new directors as membership grows

Amrae’s board has re-elected Oliver Wild, director of risk and insurance at Veolia as its chairman at this year’s general meeting.

Also re-elected were François Beaume, director of risk and insurance at Sonepar and Amrae vice president. And Sophie Maguer, head of insurance and risk management for the Tereos group.

Wild thanked departing directors Léopold Llarios de Piña, Sophie Mauclair and Gérard Payen for their investment and commitment. They had reached the statutory end of their mandates or did not stand for re-election.

He welcomed the increase in the number of new members in 2021 and the success of the 29th Amrae meeting in Deauville.

In their place, Wild welcomed three new board members:

  • Michel Josset, insurance and prevention director of Forvia and chairman of the Amrae “prevention and damage” commission;
  • Marie-Elise Lorin, risk manager of Smacl Assurance, who manages the western region of Amrae, and
  • Benoît Vraie, head of risk and quality management for Autoroutes et Tunnel du Mont-Blanc.

Wild emphasised “the diversity of their origins and professional backgrounds, their strong and continuous commitment to the profession as well as their work and research,” adding these, “constitute a real asset for Amrae and the risk management community”.
