Global risk academics and professionals will join to provide guidance on future development of IRM qualifications

IRM launches new Education Advisory Board

The Institute of Risk Management (IRM) has officially launched its new Education Advisory Board (EAB). The new EAB will be comprise leading risk academics and professionals from across the world and will provide guidance on the further development of IRM qualifications to ensure that they remain relevant and internationally applicable now and in the future.

The establishment of the new EAB is part of the IRM’s review of its existing International Diploma and Certificate programmes. Dr Lynn Drennan, IRM Education Programme Director and leader of the review, said: “The IRM programmes focus on enterprise risk management and are already highly valued by risk professionals in the UK, Europe and around the world, with hundreds of students gaining our qualifications every year.”

“Our aim is to ensure that the programmes continue to be relevant and reflect the changes taking place in the business environment – private, public and third sector – as well as assisting individuals to develop the competences needed to successfully manage risk at every level of the organization.”
