Chris Houston appointed as senior consultant in its property risk consulting team

Marsh has appointed Chris Houston has a senior consultant in its property risk consulting team. Based in London, Houston will provide property risk consulting services to clients in the London area and south of England.

Houston joins Marsh from Zurich Risk Services, where he was a team leader with responsibility for 12 risk specialists in the high-value, high-profile buildings sector.

Commenting on Houston’s appointment, Hugh Forster, leader of property risk consulting for the Southern Zone at Marsh, said: “Property-related risk can incur some of the biggest costs to business today. As organisations look to create value from rationalising assets and streamlining supply chains, so these potential exposures increase. A badly managed property risk can lead to business interruption, increased claims, damage to reputation and expensive insurance.
