It will deal with the respective roles of companies, employees, consumers, and investors vis-à-vis the development of corporate social responsibility. Themes for debate include:

  • integrating social concerns into the corporate development strategy - mobilising new skills; lending credibility to codes of conduct; promoting corporate social responsibility in SMEs

  • providing workers with new opportunities - meeting workers' expectations; improving transparency on socially responsible practices

  • supporting responsible consumption - informing consumers; integrating social and ethical clauses in public procurement

  • promoting socially responsible investing
