AIRMIC has commissioned independent research to find out which they have bought.
Paul Hopkin, AIRMIC's technical manager, explains that it is some time since AIRMIC last showcased risk management software, and the association wants to get a better understanding of what packages its members are now using and for what purposes.
Once armed with the results, AIRMIC is considering organising a series of road shows in the new year at which selected software vendors can demonstrate their packages. Other members of the Risk Federation, ALARM, the Business Continuity Institute (BCI) and the Institute of Risk Management (IRM) will be invited to attend.
Hopkin says it will be an opportunity for risk professionals to talk with the vendors about the packages they are currently using and learn more about new products and updates.
