There is still time to register for the AIRMIC 2007 conference, Gaining Competitive Advantage through Risk Management, which takes place on 5 and 6 June at the Queen Elizabeth Conference Centre in Westminster. The cost of attending is included in the subscription for AIRMIC members.

The event begins with training sessions for AIRMIC members on corporate governance, understanding financial statements, creating competitive advantage and developing a risk management strategy.

The keynote speakers that follow are former Home Secretary David Blunkett, MP for Brightside, Sheffield; Stéphane Garelli, head of the World Competitiveness Centre and jeweller Gerald Ratner. There are also more than 30 lectures and workshops. Forty organisations are participating in the exhibition.
