Frederik Koencke to focus on extending the firm‘s crisis management client relationships in Germany and across continental Europe

Towers Watson has appointed Frederik Koencke as its first Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) managing director of the crisis management group, it announced today.

He joins from the executive management team at Hamburg-based BDJ Versicherungsmakler, one of Germany’s top 10 insurance brokers, and will initially focus on extending Towers Watson’s crisis management client relationships in Germany and across continental Europe.

His previous experience includes being national practice leader for Aon Crisis Management in Germany for some 10 years. He is also a current member of the executive board of the Food Association of Germany.
