America has lifted the ban imposed on exporting goods to the Syrian aviation industry, local news media reported.

The Obama administration has also lifted the ban on exporting IT products, hardware or software, and is considering lifting other bans, according to the Jerusalem Post.

Imad Mustafa, the Syrian envoy to the US, said that each item of the penal code, which enforces economic sanctions on Syria, would be discussed with the intention of improving relations between Syria and the US.
