RMS said: ‘Insured losses from this event will be moderate, primarily driven by relatively minor roof damage and the impact of falling trees and other wind-blown debris. Damage is scattered across areas of southern Germany, eastern Austria, the Czech Republic and Poland. The majority of the losses are likely to come from damage in Austria and Germany, however minor damage in the UK, Netherlands, Czech Republic, Poland and Slovakia is likely to generate losses in the tens of millions.’
