Risk management seen from space is the unique perspective on the subject that participants can discover at the FERMA Forum in Lisbon from 2-5 October

Patrick Baudry, a French member of Russian and American space missions, founding member and president of the European Association of Astronauts, test pilot and UNESCO ambassador, will be one of the keynote speakers at the biannual event.

FERMA president, Thierry van Santen, says the Forum programme will focus on ensuring that participants' risk strategy mitigates business risk across all aspects of their organisations, whatever they may be. It begins with three keynote speakers on subjects of wide interest:

- CORPORATE GOVERNANCE AND RISK MANAGEMENT: DIFFERENT VISIONS, DIFFERENT RISKS?
Antonio Borges, chairman of the European Corporate Governance Institute, vice chairman of Goldman Sachs International and former dean of Insead business school.
- SECURITY IN THE ENLARGED EUROPE
Antonio Vitorino, former European Commissioner for Justice, Freedom and Security
- MANAGING RISK BY VALUE CREATION
Belmiro de Azevedo, president of the board of SONAE Group and a member of the international advisory board of Allianz.
